My Favorite Smell
So, I do love the smell of the ocean, but I only remember it vaguely. So, I will write about another absolutely amazing scent. That of a Christmas tree! They have a very distinct smell, somewhat crisp and nose-tingling. They smell very fresh and earthly smell, as if we just picked it right out of a forest. Every little pine needle has its own scent, almost tangy. But, nonetheless, it still smells like Christmas. And that is a very good thing! But, that's just the beginning. There's yet to smell the lights, garland, and all the small, detailed ornaments and decorations. The lights have a smell of their own. They smell...Well, they have kind of a dull scent that's hard to describe. Although, it's not hard to pick out. When you unravel the strands of lights, you can definitely tell what they are. The garland also has a type of...dullish smell. But, like I said, it's easy to tell what it is. Ornaments - it depends on what it is. If it's the five-year-old gingerbread men strand, then it definitely still has that spicy smell. That smells good. Or the bulbs, they have an old, storage type smell. But it still, no matter what, smells of Christmas!

Good Post! I love the smell of a real Christmas tree also but my husband does not allow a real tree so I settle for the smell through a candle!
